An old hiker's philosophy we live by at the lodge is "Leave it better than you found it."  As Num-Ti-Jah Lodge is a historical property it requires more love and attention, so as a team we work hard to preserve the integrity of the original vision the Simpson Family had and worked tirelessly to create.  That vision was born in 1898, the day that Jimmy Simpson Senior first set sight upon Bow Lake, and decided to share its wonder with the world.  A vision wherein memories of the unaltered earth moves beneath your feet, water so clean and clear you can see your reflection smiling back, a fragrance so rich and sweet you want to breath in deep and bright white snow caps on the mountain tops in all seasons.  A place where wildlife roam at will and call this brilliant place 'Home'.
